TERRELL - Terrell broke ground on Monday for the new Northspur Master-Planned community on the city’s western entrance.
The project, a significant undertaking by M/I Homes, a homebuilder based in Ohio, is set to span across a 700-acre site just north of Highway 80 at Spur 557. It will ultimately feature 230 home sites and commercial, industrial, and retail uses. The community website proudly announces the inclusion of a community pool and green spaces for community use. The project is expected to be completed over the next decade.
Terrell Mayor Rick Carmona, Terrell Economic Development Corporation Chairman Bruce Wood, Hines representatives, TEDC board member Shameta Wilson, TEDC President Carlton Tidwell, and TEDC Vice President Amy Mueller attended the groundbreaking.
