FORNEY, Texas — UPDATE — A motorcycle crash in Forney on Friday night claimed the life of a 28-year-old Terrell man.
On Monday morning, the Forney Police Department identified the deceased motorcyclist as 28-year-old Adam McClaran.
ORIGINAL — One person was airlifted from a crash involving a motorcycle on Friday night on U.S. Highway 80 in Forney.
The crash occurred just before 10:20 p.m. on eastbound U.S. Highway 80 prior to Gateway Boulevard.
A 911 caller told dispatchers a motorcycle struck the back of a vehicle and emergency personnel placed a CareFlite helicopter on standby.
The motorcyclist was initially reported as unresponsive and later transported by CareFlite medical helicopter to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas, in unknown condition.
At least one other person was taken by ground ambulance to an area hospital.
