FORNEY—The City of Forney has announced a new City Hall location, a move expected to be completed by August 2024.
According to a press release, the City has acquired office space at 401 Pinson Road. The new location will house City Management, the City Secretary’s Office, Fire Administration, Human Resources, Legal, and Information Technology. The current City Hall will continue to house the City Council Chamber and Community Development (Planning and Permits), Engineering, and Communications.
Utility Billing, Finance, and Public Works will continue to provide their essential services from the new location at 402 North Bois D Arc.
The city anticipates completing the move by August 2024 and encourages the community to stay informed by following its website and social media accounts.
