TERRELL, Texas — Three people were airlifted to a Dallas-area hospital following a rollover crash in the area of Interstate 20 and Wilson Road in Terrell on Sunday afternoon.
Two of those people were ejected from the vehicle and listed in critical condition earlier today, Terrell Police Department Captain A.D. Sansom confirmed with inForney.com.
Just before 4 p.m., the Terrell Fire Department and Terrell Police Department responded to the crash in the area of westbound Interstate 20 at the Wilson Road exit for the single-vehicle rollover crash.
The exit for Wilson Road and a portion of Wilson Road, including the overpass, were closed to allow three medical helicopters to land and transport the individuals to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
CareFlite helicopters as well as a Greenville-based Air Evac Lifeteam helicopter responded to the scene.
The Terrell Police Department is investigating the crash.
