CRANDALL, Texas — The Crandall City Council will host two town hall meetings to discuss proposed certificates of obligation to fund the construction of a new police station, municipal court, and fire station.
The meetings are scheduled for April 5 and April 12 at 7 p.m. Both meetings will be held at the Crandall Independent School District's Board Room at the L.F. Raynes Education Center located at 400 West Lewis.
In November 2017, the council approved the designs for the proposed facilities. At the time, the council was presented with possible financing options including 25-year bonds which weren't expected to have an impact on the current tax base contingent on an estimated two-percent growth rate over the next eight years.
