KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — A tuck hauling granite slabs overturned on Interstate 20 on Wednesday morning in eastern Kaufman County — scattering debris and causing morning delays for eastbound motorists.

KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — A tuck hauling granite slabs overturned on Interstate 20 on Wednesday morning in eastern Kaufman County — scattering debris and causing morning delays for eastbound motorists.

The crash occurred on eastbound Interstate 20 near the weigh station at mile marker 512 and the Kaufman-Van Zandt County line.

Motorists should expect delays for several more hours as crews work to clean up debris from the wreck which has scattered along the right lane and shoulder of the highway for approximately 200 yards, Elmo Fire Department Chief Randy Brumbelow tells inForney.com.

The driver of the truck was treated and released at the scene.
