Trinity Valley Community College Continuing Education is pleased to announce the availability of free Medicare Educational workshops in the spring of 2025.
The Medicare 101 Workshop aims to provide Medicare-eligible seniors with essential information about the Medicare system. Topics covered will include Part A, Part B, Part D, Social Security, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, IRMAA for Parts B and D, late enrollment penalties, and ancillary coverage. These workshops will be held at the Athens, Palestine, Terrell, and Kaufman campuses.
The schedule for the classes is as follows:
- Tuesday, Jan. 28: Athens Campus from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- Tuesday, Feb. 25: Palestine Campus from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- Tuesday, March 25: Terrell Campus from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- Tuesday, April 29: Kaufman Campus from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The instructors for the Medicare 101 Workshop will be Terry Collinsworth, President of The Seniors Group of Texas, and Barry Collinsworth, Vice President of Sales and Development for The Seniors Group.
