KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas -- Trinity Valley Electric Cooperative (TVEC) is planning a brief outage on October 1, 2017, at 9:30 p.m.
According to TVEC, the outage will be less than 20 minutes as crews prepare for maintenance and transmission infrastructure upgrades between substation.
"TVEC members in an area including Combine, south of Kaufman to Scurry, east of Kaufman from north of Kemp up to I-20 will be affected," reads a statement from TVEC.
A second outage should be expected at the conclusion of the maintenance and upgrades which is expected to be on October 16. An update will be provided as the date approaches.
"Thank you for your patience as we make these improvements, which will enhance grid reliability," stated TVEC.
