FORNEY - Texas DPS has confirmed that Michael Lewis of Forney was amongst one of the two people killed as the result of a plane crash in McKinney on Thursday.
FORNEY - Texas DPS has confirmed that Michael Lewis of Forney was amongst one of the two people killed as the result of a plane crash in McKinney on Thursday.
Michael Lewis, husband of former Forney Mayor Amanda Lewis, has been pronounced deceased after his plane crashed into a dirt mound in McKinney on Thursday.
Texas DPS released his name and the name of Gustavo Moreno as the two passengers killed in the incident. There is a third passenger yet to be identified who is currently at Parkland in critical condition.
FAA records show the plane is a 1980 twin-engine Cessna 414A owned by Hunger Relief Ministries in Forney.
The NTSB is currently leading an investigation into the cause of the crash. This is a developing story.
