Two injured in FM 548 collision, alternating lanes of traffic

FORNEY, Texas — A two-vehicle crash is causing traffic delays on Farm-to-Market (FM) 548 on Saturday night.

FORNEY, Texas — A two-vehicle crash is causing traffic delays on Farm-to-Market (FM) 548 on Saturday night.

At approximately 9:25 p.m., the Forney Fire Department, Forney Police Department, and CareFlite responded to FM 548 at Gateway Boulevard for a two-vehicle crash.

Upon arrival, firefighters requested a second ambulance to the scene.

Two people were transported to Baylor, Scott & White hospital in Sunnyvale, Texas, in unknown condition.

As of 9:52 p.m., the crash was in the clearing stage with a wrecker on scene.

Emergency personnel are alternating lanes of traffic while the southbound lane is closed due to the crash.
