FORNEY, Texas — Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Farm-to-Market (FM) 1641 on Saturday night.
FM 1641 at Interstate 20 is currently down to one lane with alternating traffic. The northbound lane is closed.
The crash was reported at approximately 9:45 p.m. on FM 1641 at the southern intersection at the Interstate 20 overpass.
The Forney Fire Department, CareFlite, Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office, and the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the crash.
Two individuals were transported by ambulance to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Sunnyvale, Texas, and Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, in unknown condition.
FM 1641 is expected to remain in an alternating traffic pattern for at least 15 more minutes to allow wreckers to clear two vehicles from the roadway.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
