KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas -- The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has awarded a contract for concrete repair and widening along a portion of Farm-to-Market (FM) 148.
The $4 million contract was awarded to Big Creek Construction, LTD, and construction dates will be established in upcoming meetings between TxDOT and the contractor, according to TxDOT spokesperson Michelle Releford.
The contract calls for additional pavement width and concrete repair on FM 148 between FM 1388 and FM 3094.
