TxDOT awards contract for road improvements to FM 2932

TALTY, Texas - The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has awarded a contract to reconstruct pavement and shoulders to Farm-to-Market (FM) 2932 in the Talty area.

TALTY, Texas - The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has awarded a contract to reconstruct pavement and shoulders to Farm-to-Market (FM) 2932 in the Talty area.

The $4 million contract was awarded to Oldcastle Materials Texas, Inc. and will span the entire length of FM 2932 from FM 741 just south of Forney to FM 148 in the Talty area.

Construction dates will be established in upcoming meetings between TxDOT and Oldcastle Materials Texas, Inc., according to TxDOT representative Michelle Releford.
