FORNEY, Texas (City of Forney) – The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will be conducting a public meeting to solicit public comments on the proposed reconstruction and widening of FM 548 from U.S. Highway (US) 80 to State Highway (SH) 205 in Kaufman and Rockwall Counties.
FORNEY, Texas (City of Forney) – The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will be conducting a public meeting to solicit public comments on the proposed reconstruction and widening of FM 548 from U.S. Highway (US) 80 to State Highway (SH) 205 in Kaufman and Rockwall Counties.
The public meeting will be held at North Forney High School, 6170 Falcon Way, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9.
The public meeting will be in an open house format with no formal presentation. The proposed project would reconstruct and widen the existing two-lane rural highway to a six-lane urban divided roadway from US 80 to SH 205.
There will be maps available that show the proposed project’s location and geometric design at the public meeting. All are welcome to attend the public meeting and express their views on the proposed project.
Those attending and unable to attend will be able to write comments regarding this project, for a period of 15 calendar days following the meeting.
