The meeting will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2017, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church Rockwall located at 1200 East Yellow Jacket Lane in Rockwall, Texas.

“Representatives from TxDOT, the City of Rockwall, and project consultants will be available to answer questions about the proposed project,” stated the notice. “It will be conducted in an informal open house format with no formal presentation.”

“The SH 205 Alternatives Analysis was divided into seven segments and was presented at the July 7, 2016 Public Meeting held at Herman E. Utley Middle School,” according to TxDOT. “The project would include TxDOT maintaining the existing John King Boulevard, Segment 6, four-lane facility and the future inside widening for an ultimate six-lane facility when warranted by traffic demand.”

“The proposed improvements to Segments 1 through 4 and 7 of the project include widening the existing two-lane roadway to a four-lane roadway with accommodations being made for an ultimate six-lane facility,” according to TxDOT. “Additional ROW is anticipated along existing SH 205 and John King Boulevard.”
