U.S. Highway 80 frontage road to be closed for overnight construction, April 13-14

FORNEY, Texas – Weather permitting, the US 80 eastbound frontage road at Broad Street will be closed for construction on on a drainage structure at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2017.

The entrance to the frontage road will be opened again by 6 a.m. the following morning.

The project was originally scheduled for Wednesday night but later rescheduled for overnight Thursday, according to the City of Forney.

Traffic will continue into Forney on Broad Street and use Pinson Road to enter the highway.
