FORNEY, Texas — Unseasonably warm weather will continue Wednesday and Thursday with highs 10 to over 15 degrees above normal, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Fort Worth, Texas.
FORNEY, Texas — Unseasonably warm weather will continue Wednesday and Thursday with highs 10 to over 15 degrees above normal, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Fort Worth, Texas.
The Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex will be within a few degrees of the record highs on Wednesday and Thursday which are forecast at 84 and 83, respectively. The record high for Wednesday is 86 degrees and 87 on Thursday.
Come Friday morning, a strong cold front will move into North Texas with expected scattered showers and thunderstorms ahead of the front.
“Storms won't be severe, but lightning will be possible,” stated the NWS. “Behind it, cool air will remain for the weekend.”
“Temperatures will be the coldest thus far this season with most locations experiencing lows in the 30's Sunday morning,” stated the NWS.
