FORNEY, Texas — A van overturned on westbound U.S. Highway 80 in Forney on Friday afternoon with separate rollover crashes being reported across the county.
The crash was reported at approximately 3:15 p.m. on westbound U.S. Highway 80 just past Farm-to-Market (FM) 460.
Firefighters reported two walking injured and one person entrapped in the vehicle. Three people were transported by CareFlite ambulance to Dallas Regional Medical Center in Mesquite, Texas.
The van was traveling westbound when it overturned into the shoulder and came to a rest on its wheels.
The crash forced the closure of the right lane. Traffic is also slow moving in the area due to inclement weather conditions.
The Forney Fire Department, Forney Police Department, and CareFlite responded to the crash which cleared at approximately 3:50 p.m.
Two separate crashes were reported on Interstate 20 in between mile markers 506 and 508, at least one of which reportedly involved a pickup truck which overturned. Traffic is being impacted on both east and westbound Interstate 20 in the area as some of the vehicles were located in the median.
On State Highway 34, in between Kaufman and Terrell, a rollover crash has forced the closure of the highway near Country Lane and County Road 139.
