FORNEY, Texas — A vehicle overturned on Farm-to-Market (FM) 548 on Friday night, striking a utility pole and continuing into a pasture.
The crash occurred at approximately 10:25 p.m. just north of the city limits of Forney.
The vehicle was traveling northbound on FM 548 when it left the roadway, overturned, and struck the utility pole and a barbed-wire fence before it came to a rest in a pasture.
The driver was initially reported to be in stable condition and later transported to Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
The top of the utility pole was snapped from its base and dangling from the utility lines.
