TERRELL, Texas — A vehicle struck a utility pole Friday night on West Moore Avenue, causing the pole to split and a small outage to nearby businesses.
No injuries were reported in the single-vehicle crash which occurred at approximately 7:15 p.m. in the 200 block of West Moore Avenue in Terrell.
The Terrell Police Department, Terrell Fire Department, and CareFlite responded.
The collision caused the pole to split down the middle and caused a small power outage to several nearby businesses in the strip which includes Little Caesars and Cricket Wireless.
According to Oncor, six customers are impacted by the outage which is expected to be restored by 3:30 a.m. An Oncor emergency unit is on scene.
