FORNEY, Texas — Westbound 20 at Farm-to-Market (FM) 741 has reopened following a rollover crash.
The highway was closed to allow a CareFlite medical helicopter to land on the westbound lanes.
An SUV overturned and came to a rest on the driver’s side of the vehicle in the left lane of the highway.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time. The Mesquite Police Department is investigating.
The driver of the vehicle was airlifted to a Dallas-area hospital. His current condition is unknown.
The left lane remains shutdown while police investigate the crash.
The Forney Fire Department, Mesquite Fire Department, Mesquite Police Department, Texas Department of Public Safety, and CareFlite responded to the scene.
