The crash involves an 18-wheeler and a FedEx truck-tractor hauling two pup trailers.
Firefighters from the Terrell Volunteer Fire Department, College Mound, and Elmo responded to the fire. The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating.
One person is deceased at the scene, Texas Department of Public Safety Staff Sergeant Kyle Bradford tells inForney.com.
The deceased person's identity will likely not be released until tomorrow.
Westbound Interstate 20 is closed at Farm-to-Market (FM) 429.
