FORNEY, Texas — Westbound U.S. Highway 80 is closed at Farm-to-Market (FM) 460 in Forney due to a jackknifed 18-wheeler.
The crash was reported just after 11 a.m., on the heels of a separate wreck involving an 18-wheeler.
An 18-wheeler struck the guardrail, jackknifed, and came to a rest up against the FM 460 overpass pillars.
First responders are reporting heavy guardrail damage with a portion stretched across one lane of the highway. The 18-wheeler is blocking the other lane of the highway — forcing a complete closure.
Traffic is being directed off the highway at FM 460. Motorist on FM 460 should also anticipate delays as police officers direct highway traffic through the service road intersection.
No injuries were reported in the crash.
The Texas Department of Transportation has been dispatched to inspect the bridge of any possible damage. According to TxDOT, no damage was observed.

An earlier reported crash involved an 18-wheeler and another vehicle on westbound U.S. Highway 80 at the Pinson Road entrance ramp.
Last week, a rock hauler, with its trailer in the upright position, struck the Pinson Road bridge.
Crews found no damage to FM 460 bridge over US 80 in Forney. Crews now assisting with cleanup of overturned semi. Westbound main lanes expected to reopen by late afternoon.
