FORNEY, Texas — Westbound U.S. Highway 80 is closed due to an overturned RV near Lawson Road and the Dallas-Kaufman County line.
The crash was reported at approximately 12:36 p.m. on westbound U.S. Highway 80 near Lawson Road and the Dallas-Kaufman County line. The RV bus overturned and is blocking both westbound lanes of the highway.
One person has been transported to Baylor, Scott, and White hospital in Sunnyvale, Texas.
Heavy-duty wrecker service has been dispatched to upright and remove the RV from the roadway.
Traffic is backed up to Lovers Lane in Forney. Its unknown how long the highway will remain closed.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, Sunnyvale Fire Department and EMS, and CareFlite responded to the crash.
