TERRELL, Texas — UPDATE — Police were notified on Monday afternoon the victim of a shooting on Saturday, 37-year-old Chad Jobe, has died from his injuries.
Police are now seeking 38-year-old Michael Roy Sanders on a murder warrant in connection with the fatal shooting of Jobe.
ORIGINAL — A Terrell man is wanted in connection with a shooting on Saturday that left another man in critical condition, police announced Monday morning.
The shooting occurred on Saturday, August 1, 2020, in the 300 block of West Newton Street. There, police discovered 37-year-old Chad Jobe, of Terrell, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Jobe was conscious and airlifted to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas, where he was last listed in critical condition.
Police identified the alleged suspect as 38-year-old Michael Roy Sanders of Terrell. Sanders is still at large, wanted on a warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and should be considered armed and dangerous, according to police.
