TERRELL, Texas — The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is currently investigating a wreck on Poetry Road Monday morning that involved two students from Poetry Community Christian School.
Local law enforcement officials have confirmed to inForney.com that two students were headed towards Terrell on Poetry Rd. together when the driver lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons and was struck by another vehicle.
One student and the driver of the other vehicle were both care flighted to area hospitals. Their condition is unknown at this time.
The other student, a male, was the passenger and was confirmed dead on the scene. Law enforcement officials have confirmed his identity, and are currently reaching out to next of kin.
