CRANDALL, Texas — The Crandall Independent School District will host several upcoming meetings to discuss newly proposed campus boundary rezoning.

The district will be opening a new elementary school in the Heartland neighborhood for the 2017-18 school year which, with its addition, will result in changes to the current campus boundaries.

“With this addition, changes will be made regarding boundaries, rezoning and home campuses for our elementary students district-wide,” stated the district.

A town hall meeting will be held October 24, 2016, at 6 p.m. at Raynes Education Center with road show presentations scheduled for November 7 at 6 p.m. at both Martin Elementary and Walker Elementary and November 8 at 6 p.m. at Wilson Elementary.

“In this presentation, members of administration will provide information regarding proposed rezoning,” stated the district.

Additionally, attendees can submit questions which will be answered via a frequently asked questions document posted to the district’s website.

“These changes to our district will impact students attending all elementary schools from grades EE-5th grade,” stated the district. “We appreciate your partnership with Crandall ISD and look forward to sharing this information with you.”
