FORNEY, Texas – Henderson Elementary students, parents, and teachers officially dedicated the Evelyn Henderson Outdoor Learning Center yesterday, May 19, 2014, located near the Henderson Elementary playground.
Evelyn Henderson was present for the dedication as the guest of honor. Approximately 90 Junior Master Gardeners Club members from 3rd to 6th grade participate in the “beyond-the-classroom” program which will utilize the center, according to 5th grade Science Teacher Heather Stewart.

“This is a project that our students can enjoy for many years,” said Stewart.
