FORNEY, Texas (Forney Education Foundation) — The Forney Education Foundation recently awarded $40,000 in innovative teaching grants to several teachers in Forney ISD.
Directors with the foundation visited all of the grant winners at their campuses on Tuesday, Dec. 13 to announce to the teachers that they were awarded a grant.
The Forney Education Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports the students and staff members of Forney ISD through scholarships and innovative teacher grants. The foundation was founded in 2004 by several local business individuals.
