FORNEY, Texas – The booster club for the Forney High School senior Class of 2014 is hosting a dodgeball tournament to help raise funds for their senior breakfast and graduation night lock-in party. The tournament will be held at the Forney High School main gym on Saturday morning, March 29, 2014, at 10 a.m.
FORNEY, Texas – The booster club for the Forney High School senior Class of 2014 is hosting a dodgeball tournament to help raise funds for their senior breakfast and graduation night lock-in party. The tournament will be held at the Forney High School main gym on Saturday morning, March 29, 2014, at 10 a.m.
The tournament is welcoming all Forney ISD students, parents, friends, and staff members with teams of five to 10 individuals to register their team with a team leader. Students from other school districts can also register a team but are required to have a team leader from Forney ISD. First 25 teams in each division accepted.
Participants will be divided into three divisions: Elementary schoolers; middle schoolers; and high schoolers and adults. Registration is $10 per person playing on the team and five players will be on the court at a time.
The registration deadline has been extended until the Taste of Forney event on Thursday night, March 27, 2014, where the boosters club will have a table set up near the exit, according to Vice President of Forney High School PTO Samantha Lee. Taste of Forney will be held at the Forney High School cafeteria from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.
