FORNEY, Texas — Forney High School culinary students will compete in the Greater Dallas Restaurant Association’s second Student’s Taste of Dallas competition on November 23, 2014.
The students will compete for the top appetizer or dessert at the competition and will be judged by top Dallas chefs who will select the first and second place winners in each category. Attendees of the event will determine the People’s Choice award.
Tickets may be purchased for the event for $20 at the door or by calling (972) 671-4372. The event will take place on Sunday, November 23, 2014, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at 3015 at Trinity Groves which is located at 3015 Gulden Lane in Dallas, Texas.
Other participating schools include Royse City High School, Mesquite High School, DeSoto High School, Allen High School, Irving High School, Nimitz High School, and Jack E. Singley Academy.
Proceeds from the event will support the Greater Dallas Restaurant Association and the TRA Education Foundation initiatives.
