The Forney High School drumline had a great showing on September 14, 2013, at the Hurst/Euless/Bedford (HEB) drumline contest. The division of 12 schools consisted of James Bowie, Everman, Burleson Centennial, Birdville, Saginaw, Juan Seguin, Timberview, Lamar, Boswell, Granbury and Aledo.
The Forney High School drumline had a great showing on September 14, 2013, at the Hurst/Euless/Bedford (HEB) drumline contest. The division of 12 schools consisted of James Bowie, Everman, Burleson Centennial, Birdville, Saginaw, Juan Seguin, Timberview, Lamar, Boswell, Granbury and Aledo.
The FHS drumline tied for 2nd with Burleson Centennial. Clinicians and adjudicators were able to work with the group before their performance, spoke to the ensemble on the field and gave them a recap of their performance after it was done. The group was adjudicated by Scott Johnson; Blue Devils Drum & Bugle Corps, Paul Rennick; Santa Clara Vanguard and Jim Yakas; University of Texas at Arlington. Percussion instructor at Forney High School is Mario Luna and drumline instructor is Shannon Jacobs.
Drumline members are: Alex Everett, Valerie Guzman, Blake Boatman, Stephen Mathew, Cole Anthony, Tyler Thompson, Alicia Gossett, Bre Folsom, Kincaid Spence, Aaron Henson, Josh Hennen, and Scott Franklin.
Front Ensemble members are: Alexis Evans, Andi Medina, Lindsey Moore, Jarod Gonzalez, Allison Kanios, Alexis Betancourt, Hannah Leahy, Jake Conner, Sarah Escobedo, Elam Bruce, Alec Chappetta, Kharl Pula, and Reed Pharris.
