The Forney High School Marching Band competed in the Mesquite Marching Festival on October 6, 2012 at Mesquite's Memorial Stadium. The FHS Band walked away with several different awards from their class 4A division and also all around rankings.
The Forney High School Marching Band competed in the Mesquite Marching Festival on October 6, 2012 at Mesquite's Memorial Stadium. The FHS Band walked away with several different awards from their class 4A division and also all around rankings.
In their class 4A division they received Best in Class Horn Line, Best in Class Percussion, Best in Class Color Gaurd, and also overall Best in Class 4A. The band also received a 1st division rating for their performance.
The band scored 3rd for the entire day for all classes, 1A through 5A. They also received 2nd place finishes for overall best percussion and color guard. 26 bands from all over north Texas competed in the event.
