FORNEY, Texas — Forney High School senior Sam Clark, a cadet 1st Lieutenant in the Forney Independent School District (ISD) Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) program, was awarded the Commanders Challenge Coin on Tuesday, March 1, 2016.
FORNEY, Texas — Forney High School senior Sam Clark, a cadet 1st Lieutenant in the Forney Independent School District (ISD) Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) program, was awarded the Commanders Challenge Coin on Tuesday, March 1, 2016.
The award was presented by LTC (Ret) Ken Boatman of the Dallas Military Order of the World Wars to Clark for being an outstanding cadet in the service to his Flight Crew. Clark’s unit represents one of 57 JROTC units in the Dallas-area.
Clark was presented the award at a luncheon held at the Park Place City Club in downtown Dallas on Tuesday, March 1, 2016.
