FORNEY, Texas — Two Forney Independent School District (ISD) Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) cadet teams took third place finishes at the Sky Raider Drill Meet last week.
FORNEY, Texas — Two Forney Independent School District (ISD) Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) cadet teams took third place finishes at the Sky Raider Drill Meet last week.
The 2016 Sky Raider Drill Meet was held at Billy Ryan High School in Denton, Texas, on October 1, 2016.
The Forney ISD Air Force JROTC Saber Team, commanded by Cadet 1st Lieutenant Benjamin Barnes, took 3rd place in their respective event and the Unarmed Drill Team, Commanded by Cadet Chief Master Sergeant Jacob Bliven, also took 3rd place in their respective event.
Both teams competed against 22 other JROTC units in the competition.
