FORNEY, Texas — For the second year in a row, the Forney Independent School District (ISD) has been named one of the Best Communities for Music Education (BCME), according to a list compiled by the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation.
FORNEY, Texas — For the second year in a row, the Forney Independent School District (ISD) has been named one of the Best Communities for Music Education (BCME), according to a list compiled by the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation.
Forney ISD was among 476 school districts out of 13,515 school districts across the nation selected for the recognition. 41 districts were selected in Texas.
“Now in its 17th year, BCME recognizes outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students and community leaders who work together to ensure access to music learning for all students as part of the school curriculum,” states the foundation’s website.
