FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Independent School District will hold a special meeting and a public hearing to consider, among other things, the 2017-18 budget.
The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. in the district’s board room located at 600 South Bois d’Arc.
The board of trustees will hold a public hearing on the proposed 2017-18 budget following by a bond refunding report presented by Live Oak Public Finance.
Under the consideration agenda, the district will consider and possibly take action to approve 2016-17 budget amendments, a 2017-18 employee compensation plan, the 2017-18 budget, and the district’s long-range plan, among other things.
Additionally, the board will consider the purchase of safety and security equipment, adoption of board goals, employee contract consideration, and will hold an executive session to discuss personnel matters.
