FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Independent School District will host two Kindergarten Round-Up sessions at each of the district’s elementary schools on Thursday, March 23, 2017.
FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Independent School District will host two Kindergarten Round-Up sessions at each of the district’s elementary schools on Thursday, March 23, 2017.
Parents will only need to attend one of the two sessions at the campus where their student will be attending kindergarten during the 2017-18 school year.
Session 1 will be held from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. and Session 2 will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Kindergarten registration is online this year and will be completed during the round-up sessions, according to the district.
“Parents that are interested in the Dual Language Program will still enroll their kindergarten students at the elementary school in their residence attendance zone and will be given information regarding the program at roundup,” the district stated.
Parents/guardians will need to provide copies of:
Student birth certificate
Student Social Security card
Shot record
Parent form of ID
Two forms of residency (lease, mortgage statement, current utility bill, etc)
