FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Independent School District (ISD) and the Forney ISD School Health Advisory Council will host the inaugural Forney ISD Health Fair at the North Forney High School on Thursday, January 29, 2015, at 6 p.m.
The health fair will be held within the school’s gym and cafeteria areas and is open to the general public. “All Forney ISD staff members, teachers, students and their families are encouraged and welcomed to participate in the health fair this year,” according to a release from the school earlier today.
Representatives from Lake Point Wellness, Health Matters, Forney Wellness, WIC, CHIP, Medicaid, and school and student organizations will have booths providing information on healthy diets, exercise tips, healthcare information, and gift giveaways.
Flu, Pneumonia, and other vaccinations will also be provided in the clinic.
