FORNEY, Texas — The North Forney High School cheerleaders will perform in the University Interscholastic League (UIL) Texas State Spirit Championship next month.
The squad will travel to the University of Texas Arlington campus on January 13-16, 2016, to perform at the UIL Texas State Spirit Championship in three categories; Cheer Performance, Band Dance Performance, and the Fight Song Performance.
The North Forney High School cheer program is under the direction of first-year coach Rebecca Butler, according to Forney Independent School District Fine Arts Director Mario Luna.
