The North Forney Falcons have what every school wants, great booster clubs that work hard to help raise funds for the students participating in extracurricular activities. There are two upcoming fundraising events; the North Forney FFA Alumni Association will hold their 1st Annual Blue & Gold Dinner and Auction, and the North Forney Bullpen Club will hold their 1st Annual Falcon Baseball Pig Roast.

There are two upcoming fundraising events; the North Forney FFA Alumni Association will hold their 1st Annual Blue & Gold Dinner and Auction, and the North Forney Bullpen Club will hold their 1st Annual Falcon Baseball Pig Roast.
Though North Forney H.S. use to have one large booster club to oversee all activities and organizations, this is the first year that each organization will have their own booster club. Funding for Texas schools was cut by the state legislature again this year, so having well organized and motivated boosters are more important than ever to our local schools.
1st Annual Blue & Gold Dinner & Auction
This event will take place on Saturday, December 1, at 7 p.m. in the North Forney High School Cafeteria. The dinner will be a delicious BBQ prepared by Spare Time BBQ. Live music will be provided by Texas native singer/songwriter Jason Walton.
Tickets are only $5 each or you can purchase an entire table for $75. Table purchasers get preferred seating for the auction and you get waiter services. All auction proceeds will go directly to help the NFHS FFA students and will help fund “student participation in career development events and leadership activities.” Funds will also help purchase FFA animals at the Kaufman County Junior Livestock Show in March.
1st Annual Falcon Baseball Pig Roast (and silent auction)
This event will take place on Monday, December 10, from 6 – 9 p.m. in the North Forney High School Cafeteria. They will be serving a full BBQ dinner that includes pulled pork, beans, potato salad, coleslaw, drink, and dessert. In addition there is a raffle and silent auction in conjunction with the event. A silent auction will be held with terrific auction items such as an autographed Mike Napoli baseball, an autographed Felix Jones mini helmet, one hour bating cage use at Texas Triple Crown, a Falcons fan pack, and much more. There will also be three raffle drawings with first prize being a $500 Visa gift card!
Tickets for the event cost $10 for adults and $6 for students. Kids under 5 years of age eat free. See any NFHS baseball player or parent to purchase tickets.
