FORNEY, Texas — Two Forney High School students were notified they were selected to participate in the 2016 National Merit Scholarship Competition after taking the PSAT and ranking among the Top 50,000 juniors who took the test.
FORNEY, Texas — Two Forney High School students were notified they were selected to participate in the 2016 National Merit Scholarship Competition after taking the PSAT and ranking among the Top 50,000 juniors who took the test.
Forney High School juniors Willard Conine and Ethan McCready were notified of their achievements and will await a September announcement to determine if they are selected as a National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist or a National Merit Commended Scholar.
More than 1.5 million juniors entered the Nation Merit Scholarship competition by taking the PSAT last October. Connie and McCready’s scores returned among the top 50,000 students to take the PSAT worldwide.
