On December 17th, from 6 PM to 10 PM, the Mariachi Mexican Bar & Grill will host a benefit to raise funds for Officer Candanoza’s family, who are navigating this difficult time.
The event, organized by the Brotherhood of the Fallen Dallas, promises an evening filled with compassion and camaraderie. Attendees can look forward to a silent auction, live music, and the chance to connect with fellow community members—all while contributing to a noble cause. Donations will be accepted at the door, and a portion of all food and drink sales will go directly to the Candanoza family.
The Brotherhood of the Fallen is dedicated to supporting the families of officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Founded in 2010 by a group of Chicago police officers, the organization has expanded to multiple cities, including New York, Boston, and Fort Worth. The Dallas chapter was established in the wake of the tragic events of July 7, 2016, when five Dallas officers lost their lives. Inspired by the overwhelming support from existing chapters, the Dallas team committed to providing similar assistance to fallen officers' families in their community.
