“Brookshire Grocery Company is committed to serving the communities where our stores operate,” said Rebecca Sanders, director of public relations. “We encourage citizens in all our communities to participate.”
Pre-packaged food donation bags are available near the cash registers and by request for $5 each. Brookeshire’s will also serve as a drop-off location for dry and canned foods at the Brookshire’s service desk located at the front of the store.
Sanders also stated that “collections from each store will be donated to a local food organization in their respective communities.”
