Emergency responders cleared a four-vehicle accident on eastbound US Highway 80 near the FM 460 on-ramp in Forney, Texas, just before 7:40 p.m.
The accident occurred at approximately 6:55 p.m. on Saturday night, November 9, 2013. The right lane of traffic and the FM 460 on-ramp were closed while crews worked the accident.
All of the vehicles involved in the accident were small passenger cars. One vehicle was blocking the left lane of US Highway 80 before the FM 460 on-ramp but traffic was allowed around it in the right lane momentarily before passing the accident by switching back to the left lane.
The three remaining vehicles were in the right shoulder of US Highway 80 immediately following the FM 460 on-ramp. The lead vehicle sustained major side damage.
Multiple wreckers were called to the scene to clear the vehicles. Two East Texas Medical Center ambulances responded to the accident but the injuries are unknown at this time.
