Kaufman County Sheriff Brynes throws out first pitch leading Rangers to victory over Astros

Kaufman County Sheriff Byrnes threw out the first pitch at the Texas Rangers (87-71) game on Tuesday night, September 24, 2013, against the Houston Astros (51-108).

The Texas Rangers baseball team and the Texas Rangers Law Enforcement Association (TRLEA) were honoring all current and former Texas Rangers law enforcement personnel. The TRLEA selected KC Sheriff Byrnes to throw out the ceremonious pitch.

Byrnes is a former TRLEA President and a retired Texas Rangers Captain.

The Rangers went on to win with a come-from-behind victory 3 to 2. After Tuesday and Wednesday night's victories against the Astros, the Rangers are 17-2 against the Astros this season.
