Police ask for help finding missing Ennis mom

ENNIS, Texas — Ennis Police department officials are asking for the public’s help in the search for a missing mother who has not been seen since January 5.

ENNIS, Texas — Ennis Police department officials are asking for the public’s help in the search for a missing mother who has not been seen since January 5.

Ennis Police Department say they received a report from a family member about a missing Emily Wade on January 6. Wade is 38 years of age and is described as 5’6” approximately 140 lbs. with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Wade was last seen leaving a friend’s residence on January 5, 2019 at approximately 8:30 pm to 8:45 pm.

KDFW Fox 4 reported that Wade had moved to Ennis to help her mom through back surgery, moved back to her hometown in Kentucky and then moved to Ennis again to live in an apartment with her mother and 7-year-old daughter.

According to their report Ennis police said they have cleared Jones, Wade’s mother and her co-worker at as persons of interest. They’ve also retraced possible routes she could have taken home that night, both on foot and flying overhead with a drone.

Wade was driving a silver 2012 Nissan Altima bearing Kentucky license plate number 411PAZ according to a release by officials.

Police say Wade has had no contact with family or friends since and has not shown up for work.
