According to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth, todays is expected to be cloudy across Kaufman County. Showers are likely with a slight chance of thunderstorms this morning. Temperatures will remain steady in the lower 40s. North winds 10 to 15 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph this afternoon are expected.
Tonight, is expected to be much colder with lows in the mid 20’s. North winds of 10 to 15 mph are expecting which may allow wind chill readings as low as 12 degrees.
Monday is expected to be partly sunny. Cold with highs in the mid 30’s. North winds 10 to 15 mph with wind chill readings as low as 11 degrees.

Outer garments should be tightly woven, water repellent, and hooded.
Always wear a hat, as half of your body heat can be lost from the head.
Mittens, snug at the wrist, are better than gloves.
