She realized that Forney and surrounding cities were missing out on the wedding and event planning industry and decided that the best way to rectify that was to introduce her company, Renee's Eventi, to Forney by holding a boutique event show in town.

She realized that Forney and surrounding cities were missing out on the wedding and event planning industry and decided that the best way to rectify that was to introduce her company, Renee's Eventi, to Forney by holding a boutique event show in town.
According to Wells, “The Renee's Eventi Boutique Event Show on Saturday, July 28th will be similar to the Market Hall Bridal Show, but of course on a smaller scale.” She explained that they do not simply cater to weddings, but also to birthday parties, milestone celebrations, quinceaneras, and other events. Wells said, “The show will have something for anyone planning an event. I'm so excited about the show.” The event will be held at the Forney Best Western at 752 Pinson Road.
So what can attendees expect at this event show? LaKisha Wells has invited local vendors to introduce their products and services and she says through this experience she has met some amazing local business owners. You can expect caterers, bakery's, photographers, videographers, a photo-booth, stationary supplies, a bridal boutique, a face painter, a magician, and beauty consultants. If you will be planning an event or just want to enjoy a fun day, you should attend the Renee's Eventi Boutique Event Show. Local vendors will be at your fingertips and attendees will have the chance to sample products and find out what the vendors have to offer. Wells said, “I don't think Forney residents and residents from the surrounding cities need to attend the big event shows to find amazing vendors, there are amazing vendors right here in town.”
The first 25 people who attend the event will receive a free glam bag full of goodies and discounts from participating vendors, and you will also be allowed into the event for free. The admission after that is $5 and you can buy tickets by clicking here, or simply pay at the door. This event is the first of its kind in Forney, but hopefully it will become an annual occurrence that gives local residents a chance to experience event planning without having to travel to Dallas.
