If you are ready to re-live old memories of 80's lore, and do it for a cheap price, you'll enjoy the Film Fest. If perhaps you were just being born in the 80's, then this is your chance to catch some great films that your parents probably know very well.

Aug 7-9, 2012 Ferris Bueller's Day Off
This 1986 flick is truly an 80's classic. Of course any 80's movie with Director John Hughes name on it is golden. Matthew Broderick showed all of us Generation X teenagers what we could do, but probably shouldn't. The Tuesday showing of Ferris Bueller's Day Off is at 7 p.m., the Wednesday show is at 12 p.m., and the Thursday show is at 7 p.m.
August 14-16 Grease Sing-A-Long
Technically Grease came to theaters in 1978, and the Grease Sing-A-Long was released in 2011. We'll let that slide though, because Grease is just that good of a movie. The sing-a-long part just means that the original Grease is shown, but the words to the songs are up on the movie screen so you can sing-a-long from your seat.
The Tuesday showing of Grease Sing-A-Long is at 7 p.m., Wednesday at 12 p.m., and Thursday at 7 p.m.
August 21-23 Top Gun
Now is your chance to take the highway to the danger zone and see one of the best movies of the 1980's! Tom Cruise, Anthony Edwards, Val Kilmer, and Kelly McGillis—that was an all-star lineup for another 1986 mega-movie! If you haven't lost that loving feeling or the need for speed, you'll enjoy seeing this classic.
The Tuesday showing of Top Gun is at 7 p.m., Wednesday at 12 p.m., and Thursday at 7 p.m.
August 28-30 Airplane!
This 1980 satirical comedy has been replayed on TV many times over the years, but for a few days in Forney you can see it on the big screen. The late Leslie Nielsen brought a lot of laughter to fans of the Airplane movies, so if you enjoy sarcasm, folly, and the kind of humor that is, well, sophomoric, then you will really enjoy seeing Airplane!
The Tuesday showing of Airplane! is at 7 p.m., Wednesday at 12 p.m., and Thursday at 7 p.m.
